SWANSEA AS A DESTINATION FOR HEN PARTIES:
Birthplace of Dylan Thomas, Swansea is Wales’ second largest city, and is within walking distance of the 5 mile sweep of Swansea Bay.
Swansea is well known for its vibrant nightlife, with a wide range of clubs, bars and restaurants to suit every age and taste. The Wind Street area has become the modern café quarter by day, and by night it becomes the liveliest street in the city.
The city boasts an award winning marina and maritime quarter which is home to the national Waterfront Museum and the LC Leisure complex and Waterpark, both must see attractions within a few yards of each other.

The city centre is proud that it has the largest indoor market in Wales where you can sample and buy many local delicacies and of course the traditional Welshcakes, local souvenirs, Welsh dolls, rugby shirts and love spoons.
For the adrenalin pumping Hen Parties the area has an international reputation for its exceptional walking, mountain biking and surfing. The natural Environment around Swansea offers opportunities to sail, windsurf, surf, row and canoe or alternatively horse riding through the valley’s, mountain biking at Afan Forest park or golf on some beautiful coastal links.
In the Swansea Bay, Mumbles area there are additional sporting alternatives for the energetic, such as abseiling, archery, bowling, flying, fishing, paintballing skydiving to mention just a few.
For the Hen parties interested in exploring old buildings and castles there are some spectacular locations in the Swansea area. Oystermouth castle for instance is the Gower peninsula’s finest castle and well worth a visit
Staying in the city, why not visit the Swansea museum, built in 1841 it’s the oldest in Wales.
