LIVERPOOL AS A DESTINATION FOR HEN PARTIES:
Liverpool the world famous City, is a visually stunning friendly place.
It has a compact central area and good transport links to the rest of the region, giving easy access to all areas.
Whether you are fanatical about sport, a culture vulture, a shopaholic, a music buff, or just enjoy exploring heritage sites, Liverpool has plenty to keep you entertained.
The City has also become the night life capital of the North East and offers a wide range of venues, intimate café bars and traditional pubs. Add to all that the wide range of restaurants and massive choice of hotels, hostels and B&B’s and you will see why Liverpool is an ideal destination for Hen Parties.
Take for instance the famous Albert Dock- a 19th Century warehouse, an award winning attraction, housing café bars, restaurants and shops. It is the home to the Beatles shop where you can buy all their memorabilia while listening to their original music being played on an old 1960’s juke box.
While at the Albert Dock don’t miss the opportunity of visiting the Merseyside Maritime Museum.
Also housed here and a must do for the Culture Vultures is the Tate Liverpool, home of the National collection of Modern art.
Liverpool boasts no fewer than 1500 listed buildings, a Pandora’s box for Hen parties interested in architecture. A climb to the top of the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, the largest in Britain will test the fittest but the views from the top of its 331 foot tower are stunning and well worth the effort.
For the sporty Hens there’s a choice of watching either of the City’s two most famous teams, Liverpool FC or Everton.
Energetic Hens can flex their muscles at the Awesome walls climbing centre, one of the largest indoor climbing centres in Europe or visit one of the many leisure centres in the city.
