Ready to have the wits scared out of you ? The York Dungeon is the pits. They specifically welcome hen parties and have a special package laid on - the tour, 2/3 course meal in its neighbouring Restaurant Plonkers and then free into The Gallery Nightclub. 

They have 11 different live shows - Ghosts of York, Dick Turpin, Guy Fawkes, Bloody Vikings, Witches - Burned Alive, you just have to pick and choose. Maybe a change of knickers would be a good thing to pack before going in here. 

When you have 10 or more in the group, you get one extra person in for free.
