Pottery Making for your Hen Do

POTTERY CLASSES AS A HEN PARTY ACTIVITY:

Think back sisters, before you organise your Hen Party activities to the things that you all got a great kick from when you were little girls.
Probably one of the most endearing was running into your mother’s kitchen and dangling a wriggling worm in front of her face. It wasn’t so much that you scared the living daylights out of her but the soothing satisfaction that you discovered as you squeezed the mud through your fingers while you extricated your little friend from the soil.
There’s something therapeutic about holding clay in your hands even if it’s only making mud-balls, but now you can take it to a new level.
While most girls or young ladies will find it difficult to find time in this modern world to do pottery classes, an opportunity is staring you all straight in the face as you plan your afternoons Hen Party activity.
Most Hen Parties will stick to the tried and trusted main stream activities, like make up parties or quad biking but there are times when you as the Hen Party organisers need to break the mould.
Consider for one moment, the thrill of using potters clay and wheel as your hen party girls let them self go and mould the materials into a work of art that can be taken home for posterity.
It is a great fun activity and there are lots of pottery schools who are delighted to welcome Hen Parties to their studios. For some it’s a great fun way of generating revenue and if you speak nicely to the potter they may just organise a couple of glasses of wine for the Hen Party girls.
