LONDON FASHION WEEK

London Fashion Week (LFW) held in February at Somerset House, the

Strand, London is one of the highest profile fashion events in the world and one of the “Big Four” international cat-walk influencers. The Event is organised by the British Fashion Council (BFC) and funded by a number of sponsors (including canon Europe, current headline sponsors for seven consecutive seasons)

LFW puts London and British fashion firmly on the global stage, generating orders in the region of £100 million. The event itself contributes £20 million to the London Economy in terms of direct spend and attracts visitors from 25 countries including the US, France, Italy, Russia, China and the UAE.

There are 50 or so Cat-walk shows on the official schedule and a further 45+ Shows off schedule.

LFW visitors have access to many more designers through presentations, multi-brand and individual showrooms.

The BFC also co-ordinate an event schedule to help visitors experience London “the City” as well as the showcase of British Fashion design talents at the LFW.
