Ha ha ha!! So funny

Ideas to make the bride cry....

There are so many ways to enjoy a Hen Party and there are so many options and ideas and challenges open to all Hen Party organisers, but stop and consider for one moment, Is it possible to have a top class  event without sploshing the dosh or raising to bar so high that no one can even see it? Let’s ask ourselves, is it possible in this high tech age of mobile phones, ipods, flat screen TV’s, 3d images, eco friendly cars, re-cycling and plastic money to organise a Hen Party on a shoe string budget?

What can be done that will not melt the fantastic flexible friend or that will give everyone a great day and even a good night out for little more than the cost of a few drinks and a bit of  good old fashioned high calorie laden greasy food?

There are of course many options for a “small change” great fun Hen Party. The first point is to stay in your own locality. That eliminates the cost of travel to some city over the horizon and it totally scrubs out the cost of staying in some decent hotel.

The Hen Party can begin by taking advantage of all the exhibitions, art Galleries and places of interest, historical and otherwise in the local area. What about a bit of good old fashioned window shopping where you and your hen Party can let your imaginations run riot by just looking in the shop windows.

How many places of interest are in your own location that are advertised on the internet in an effort to attract visitors from other parts of the globe and they all have a “free entry” sign over the door. Think about all the quirky little places in your own home town that you never stopped or entered to admire.

Look up your local tourism web site and make a list. Select the places that interest all the girls going on the Hen Party and get on with it.

Make some nice sandwiches or breakfast rolls, stick them in a bag with some liquid refreshment and you have eliminated the cost of lunch.

Do a walking tour. The streets are free. Bring a good book of jokes in case some one is stuck for a few laughs and let your hair down a bit.

If you are still inclined for a hair shirt Hen Party, then dine out at the local Chipper.

What tastes better after a long afternoon sightseeing than a fresh cod and a bag of “blocks” all smothered in coarse salt and malt vinegar. Tomato ketchup optional of course.

When all those calories have hit the bottom of your stomach, it will be time to hit the pub for a few “Skint Hen Party” drinks. Choose a pub that has free entertainment and is open to the idea that the Hen Party can sing along.

If you plan carefully and do the Hen Party on a Monday or Tuesday there is a great chance that you will get free admission to some night club. In fact a phone call in advance and you might find that some clubs have a “Ladies Free” night during the week. Be cute, look up the internet, and see what can be done on a low budget in your area. You’ll be surprised how much fun you can have on a Shoe string budget Hen Party.

Oh, keep some change for the taxi home.
